I started blogging over a year ago and moved here to WordPress a few months ago. The title of my blog tells you so much about it. There is no rhyme or reason to the topics, it is random. Winesoaked Mind is a term I must have heard somewhere and it seemed to fit. I certainly love wine and vineyards and learning about wine so my personal randomness coupled with my hobby created the title.
Having gotten my education in Journalism and spent nearly 15 years being a journalist I miss writing so this blog helps me with that loss. I really like making people think and laugh and sometimes this blog lets me do that.
I have four children ranging in age from 8-18 and they are often the topic of my blog. Children can bring us the greatest humor and irritation in life.

Laura, I LOVE reading what you write… I have a suggestion to make. Now don’t laugh… hear me out. I really want you to publish your blogs into a “chicken soup for the wine-soaked Mind.” People would buy them. I’m serious! Because everyone can laugh and relate to the stories that you so eloquently create. Please publish them. It would make a great bathroom read too… Just Sayin!
